Sound snippets
Lonely as a cloud
This soundscape is inspired by William Wordsworth's poem, "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud," featuring birdsong and other instrumentation (e.g., shruti box, chimes, singing bowl, rainstick, and mbira), in addition to a short solo snippet from the poem, "Mapping the Source," by my dear friend, The Teafaerie.
By Our Paws
We live in perpetual quarantine and we hope that this cat-centric jam evokes the various emotions that come with isolation from a cat's perspective.

Show us your kitties
Our beloved friend “Show Us Your Kitties” whimsically reflects on the relationship between isolation and connection, in conversation with a range of field recordings.

Safe n’ sound
This sound painting features a menagerie of music boxes as well as swinging chimes, a wind-up toy, and random field recordings from around the house. The voices in the mix come from the 1979 record, "The Multi-lingual Bird," an album to help train talking birds to speak Spanish, German, Italian, French, and Yiddish.
